Does anyone else feel like they’re living their lives in third person? Like nothing seems fully real, and it’s hard to connect to anyone or anything no matter how beautiful or tragic. It’s almost like things are passing by and you’re watching yourself experience everything, but feel nothing.

How saddening is it that Allaah comes to the lowest heaven every night and asks us for our needs so that He may fulfill them, rather we ignore His invite and choose to stay warm in our beds, and that too only because He has given us the pleasure of doing so… truly it’s saddening.

As you get lowered into your grave, you hear chatter, people throw in handfuls of dirt to fill your grave. You knew you’d be in here someday but you had not anticipated it to be this quick, no one can hear you. Everyone leaves. You are left alone, your cries are not heard, your grave looks darker, colder and you realise you’re not alone. You’d give anything and everything to live again, to rightly worship Him. But it’s late.
